Better news: there was room to spare!
Best news: I ran two days in a row!
Not so great news: now my shins are killing me.
However, I have discovered 2 very wonderful things: strap-on ice packs and adjustable shin/calf supports.
Running in the calf supports was beautiful. I barely hurt at all, and when I did, just walking helped.
Yes, I am perfectly aware of the (P)RICE formula.
I just don't want to R.
So, I'm following a modified "PICE" formula, which is basically just . . . ice.
Hey, don't judge.
