(I'd say it's been about the same.)
In the interest of no excuses, I'm going to tell you that I haven't worked out much lately.
And in the interest of reasons, I'm going to tell you I had some sort of cold that made it very hard to breathe which in turn makes it very hard to exercise.
I'm over it enough to do things now without coughing.
But hey, this is what accountability is for, right?
In the interest of progress, though, I will say that I have altered my diet and I can tell a difference in energy, which is encouraging.
I'm trying to eat less carbs (mostly bread and pasta because I love bread and pasta), and I'm going for more proteins (which I also love) and fruits (which I'm okay with) and vegetables (which I do not love).
I realized, though, that mushrooms, bell peppers, apples, corn, celery (which is basically nothing, I know), avocados, and zucchini are all über healthy, so I'm not as bad off as I thought.
I'm pretty sure nori is healthy too . . . I remember reading this random magazine cover to cover about a decade ago during a flight, and it had this article that talked about these three kinds of seaweed that helped this woman lose about 100 pounds . . . but now that I think about it, I may have been reading a glorified advert.
Either way, I'm 99% sure sushi is good for you.
And, thanks to my mom's vast knowledge of diets, food, and things like that and human biology last semester, I have a much better understanding of how the body uses certain foods, which is interesting if nothing else.
Rest assured, I will be hitting the gym this week with a vengeance -- that bridesmaid's dress isn't going to get any bigger.
Diet is so important and that's great you've been cutting out some of the carbs. I'm doing the same thing and am totally missing my pasta! I also joined the website giveit100.com and think its added a level of accountability that motivates me to workout. Good luck with your weight loss!
