Devotions -- What a Novel Idea

Ever done a certain study of the Bible that has really just touched your heart and impacted you?
I did such a one last year after a friend recommended it, and wow . . . I plan on doing it again every so often.

There's this awesome site called She Reads Truth.
They write studies and guides for women that want to improve areas of their lives with God's word.
They did a study of Hosea, and while I have to admit that I'd never read Hosea before, now I'd say it's a sadly underrated book.

I became curious about Hosea while reading Redeeming Love a few lot of years back, but I'd never really gone beyond that book (which is an incredible retelling of Hosea, by the way).

You ought to read both, though I would say that while Scripture is God-breathed and profitable . . . there are some subjects that are more profitable for more mature audiences than younger ones, if you get what I mean.
But anyway, if you're like me in that you want to be more consistent in your devotions and you want to read more books this year, I'd definitely suggest the two of them.
