That's not awkward at all. . .
One thing that blogs are perfect for, though, is accountability.
So here it is: I've mentioned that one of my New Year's Resolutions is to lose a ton of weight.
Okay, not literally a ton; that would result in negative weight which I'm pretty sure is impossible, but I never did take physics or anything like that, so I could be wrong.
Every other Tuesday I'll post an (honest) update about what I've done to lose weight and if it's worked.
Also, just a note here: BMI is not everything. The number on the scale is not everything.
If you work out, you are bound to gain muscle, which does indeed weigh something. It's just how it carries that's different.
Weight is a guideline, not a goal.
So.
Starting weight: 150 (10 down from last year!)
Current weight: I don't know, but I think I'm down a pound or two. I'm purposefully not weighing all the time, because that can really be depressing. I forget to most times, anyway.
Yesterday, I "ran" on an elliptical for 45 minutes, and I plan to do the same thing tomorrow and Friday.
I'll probably make a post on outsmarting ellipticals later, because you really get a better workout that way than just doing a traditional elliptical workout.
